“Reality”

Changes more drastic than ever before 

Did not think I would end up here 

In the middle of what I prayed for 

Thought it was so far out of reach

But I still held on to my dreams 

With faith and consistency 

Nothing is unattainable 

For if there’s a will there’s a way 

That’s what they say

A mantra to keep my dreams close to me 

Never too far and always closer than I think 

In tomorrow today I always pray

Envision my life in the dream today

So it’s never too far away 

Living in the moment because just like that 

The moment is gone 

Remember a time when I thought 

I can’t make it on my own 

But here I am now striving and surviving 

Faith in the laws of nature still strong
